All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth checked in with fans with a video blog at the band’s YouTube channel. The Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland pop punk group’s leader talked about “selling out” after the band’s video was featured on ‘TRL’. “We had no idea it was going to happen,” Alex said of the MTV appearance. “It’s really cool. We were all stoked that we’re getting that kind of support and that somebody submitted our video. I don’t really know how it works. I didn’t see it but the people who did see it told me it was for a jukebox thing, and apparently it’s where fans submit what videos they’d like to see on ‘TRL’. I guess ours made it, so that’s awesome. But then I saw all this crazy conversation on our MySpace and whatnot talking about – a lot of people were really excited about it but I saw a bunch of people saying, ‘You guys are selling out.’ What does that mean? I’m not getting paid. Should I be?” Gaskarth asked fans to weigh in on what selling out is exactly. Watch the clip below.
