Alex Kapranos Talks ‘Tonight’, The Cure, Touring
NME caught up with Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand from the band backstage at London’s Heaven club, where the singer talked about the gigs they have lined up in support of their third album ‘Tonight’, playing along with The Cure, trying to slip into the persona of a psychopathic stalker with their new song ‘Turn It On’, always loving the stories of ‘Ulysses’ – the title of their new single – when he was growing up, and how he loves going back on the road just after putting out a new set of songs, comparing it to the first hits for a junkie.
