A.F.I.: We Really Mean It

frontman Davey Havok spoke with Australia’s Time Off magazine about what sets the Ukiah, California band apart from the rest. “I tend to think it’s a matter of fans being able to recognize the honesty in our music, recognize what we’re doing is really an expression of ourselves, and we do it because we love it, and really mean it,” Havok reasoned. “I think that comes through in the words and our live performances, and I think people gravitate towards that because in the end, what makes people passionate about something, or feel a real connection to something, is the authenticity of that art, no matter what it is.” The article at timeoff.com.au has since been removed.
