Three decades into his career, Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton is still getting used to playing in front of big crowds. “I get up on the stage, and I’m too glad to be there — I have a blast — but I always feel like ‘Wow, I wish could hang back, rock out, and just play,'” Hamilton tells Jason Bracelin of the Cleveland Scene. “I always felt that I didn’t have the natural rock persona. But you have to address the fact that there’s a bunch of people there, and you want to make a good impression, so it’s always a challenge.”
