A Different Drummer

The New York Post spoke with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and asked if the baby boy his girlfriend Shanna Moakler gave birth to has effected the group. “Yeah, we know how to have a good time,” he said. “We’ll never forget that, whether we have more kids, wives or girlfriends. That’s how our fans know us. It would be weird to change.” Asked if being a father has sunk in for him, Barker added, “It’s already changed my life. I didn’t know what it was going to do to me. It all seemed surreal until it happened. Since then, I just want to be home. I get up in the morning, I go to the gym for some boxing and then I come home and spend time with my girlfriend and baby until I have to get to rehearsal.”
