Mike Shinoda Discusses Linkin Park’s New LP ‘A Thousand Suns’
Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda talked to Absolute Radio ahead of the release of their album ‘A Thousand Suns’. Shinoda discussed with host Ben Jones their change of direction for the record, upcoming live shows, the false names that Linkin Park use to check into hotels, and Chester Bennington’s solo project.
Asked about the new album being two years in the making, Mike said, “It doesn’t seem like it took that long when you’re in our shoes. But our fans always make comments about us online that we always promise a record and then take twice as long essentially to actually deliver. It’s partially because we’re perfectionistic and also because I think we’re searching for something new and different, and usually it takes awhile to get there.”
