28 Days Drummer Scott Murray Dies

Scott Murray, from Australian band 28 Days, has died after he was hit by a car Saturday night. Murray was pronounced dead Sunday night. Fellow band members James Dunne, Damian Gardiner, Simon Hepburn and Jason Howard released a statement regarding the incident saying, “Although mainly known for his time as the drummer from 28 Days, Scott was a unique person and a musician in his own right who was dearly loved by his family and friends and well respected and liked by everyone he came into contact with,” they said in a statement. Words cannot express our feelings at this time as we try to come to terms with such an unexpected and tragic loss. We are all honored to have known Scott and been able to call him our friend.”
