John Soeder of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reviewed the New Found Glory and Good Charlotte concert at Tower City Amphitheater on Friday night. He writes, “When hard-liners slam today’s pop-punk groups for being overly commercial, they conveniently tend to forget the Ramones, the Sex Pistols and the Clash all had major-label record deals, too. Granted, the likes of New Found Glory and Good Charlotte aren’t breaking any new ground. But at least they go about the business of recycling punk with a contagious sense of fun and no shortage of engaging melodies.” Cleveland.com has since removed the article.
